Director of Clinical Operations
Michael received a Bachelor of Science from College of Charleston and then earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Medical University of South Carolina. He moved to Beaufort after graduating with honors from MUSC in 2006. Michael has experience providing physical therapy in a variety of settings that include outpatient physical therapy, inpatient rehab, and home health. Through these experiences, he learned the importance of providing comprehensive patient education, customizing treatment plans to meet each individual's needs, and developing home programs that are appropriate to the patient's environment. Michael is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a LSVT BIG® trained clinician for treatment of patients with Parkinson's disease and other neurological disorders.
Tim graduated with Honors from the physical therapist assistant program at Wallace State in 2000. Since that time he has worked in out-patient clinics and in home healthcare. In these settings, he provided treatment for a variety of conditions including pre-surgery and post-surgery orthopedic conditions, sports injuries and neurologic disorders and dysfunction resulting from conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, MS and spinal cord injuries. During his career Tim has developed a strong interest in treating patients with balance and vestibular disorders. He has focused much of his continuing education in this area. He is certified through the American Institute of balance for vestibular rehabilitation for the treatment of conditions of the inner ear, central nervous system and peripheral nervous system. Tim enjoys sharing the knowledge that he has gained throughout his career with PTA students. He was awarded outstanding clinical instructor of the year in 2012 by Technical College of the Lowcountry at the Carolina Clinical Education Consortium. Tim was raised in beautiful Beaufort South Carolina and he takes pride in serving the community that he loves so dearly.
